Frankfort Fall Festival packs streets during Labor Day weekend
The 43rd Annual Frankfort Fall Festival drew artists and visitors to the southwest suburbs historic downtown area during the Labor Day weekend.
The juried arts and crafts fair, organized by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce with the support of more than 200 volunteers, may have drawn record crowds, officials say.
Artisan tents lined the streets showcasing everything from restored antique fire extinguishers to glass jewelry to lawn ornaments. The arts and crafts fair ran from Saturday through Monday. A carnival started Wednesday and a Beer and Entertainment Tent was open Thursday through Monday.
