Summit Hill Junior High’s Girls Softball B Team has continued their winning streak and is still undefeated with a record of 10-0. The Spartans played Jane Addams from Bolingbrook on August 23rd. Amber Ulatowski pitched an outstanding game and had nine strike outs. During the bottom of the third inning Erin Dilger, Jessica Zobak, and Sara Grygus each hit a home run and the Spartans were up 13-2. Olivia Mergenthaler, Jessica Miller, and Jen Pozza all scored in yesterday’s game. Once again great plays in the field were made by Jessica Catania, Allyson Cappel, Haley Holder, Mallory Moran, Jazzmine Phillips, MaKenzie Pryszcz, and Angela Rehder and kept Jane Addams scoring to a minimum and the Spartans won with a final score of 13-3. The girls’ last game is Saturday, August 28th against Coal City. Summit Hill Jr. High is located in Frankfort and serves students in Frankfort, Mokena, and Tinley Park.
