The Frankfort Public Library Board of Trustees appointed a 12-year Frankfort resident with library experience as its newest member during a special meeting Saturday.
Jeff Limp was chosen by other board trustees to fill a vacancy after three applicants for the spot were interviewed last week. He has an MBA and is senior vice president of global product implementation for IPSOS, a global market research company, according to a statement from the library.
He is also working to earn his master’s in library science from the University of Illinois and served as a library trustee for the Mokena Public Library before moving to Frankfort.
He will fill a space left vacant last month when longtime library Trustee Kay MacNeil resigned.
The next library board meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the library, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road.
