Grammy-missing teen says he’s ‘truly and sincerely sorry’ for injury crash

A Frankfort teen on probation for reckless driving whose request to attend the Grammy Awards was denied this week by a judge who noted his apology letters hadn’t been sent said today he was “deeply sorry” and he’d given the letters to a probation officer two months ago.

“I am truly and sincerely sorry for what had happened almost three years ago, and will forever be,” wrote Raihan “Ray” Sayeed, 19, in an email to the Tribune.
