Winter News

Congratulations to our first inductees into the National Elementary Honor Society. The National Elementary Honor Society was established in 2008 with two primary purposes: to recognize students who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated responsibility in their lives, and to engage those students, through the work of the chapter, in service and leadership development. Grant-White’s first Induction Ceremony was attended by administration, school board members, staff, family, and friends. Thank you to Rosemary Maroni a former Grant-White student, and resident of Forest Park, who was the guest speaker. Ms. Maroni, who is now a teacher, spoke of her many memories of Grant-White School.

Grant-White Elementary Winter Choir Concert directed by Ms. Carini brought down the house. Voices filled the gym with the sweet sound of Seasons Change, Listen to the Beat of My Heart, and other winter songs. Congratulations to the 4th and 5th grade choir for such a wonderful concert.

Congratulations to this month’s Exceptional Eagles. These students exemplify what it means to be a Grant-White Eagle.
