The Proviso Herald reports: Village leaders in Proviso Township declared their towns disaster areas in an effort to get monetary relief from the federal government. Disaster areas included Bellwood, Broadview, Forest Park, Hillside, Maywood, Melrose Park, Stone Park and Westchester.
