Hips were twisting and arms flying as Evanstonians young and old joined in on another installment of Its Thursday, Lets Dance, a free weekly concert and dance lesson presented by EVMark.

Each weeks performance features a different dance style, ranging from samba to ballroom. On Aug. 13, blues band Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames took the stage at 909 Davis St. Plaza while members of Evanstons Giordano Dance School gave dance lessons to the crowd.

Its Thursday, Lets Dance ends at 6:30 Aug. 20 with The Midway Ramblers performing Cajun music. For more information, go to www.evmark.org.
