EVANSTON, IL – December 9, 2010 -- Saint Joan of Arc students offered a new twist on traditional Christmas tunes in their recent performance of "Santa’s Holiday Playlist." After Santa breaks his favorite Christmas LP, students offer him I-Pod playlists with various holiday music alternatives, ranging from Motown to cowboy country to Broadway to rock ‘n roll. The play, directed by SJA music director, Scott Will featured Trey Ansani as Santa, Ryen Delaney as Mrs. Claus, Jacob Griffin, Sam Taylor, and Mickey Haughey as toy soldiers, Audrey Klopfer as Crystal Snowflake, and Matthew O’Connor as Rudolph.

All the kindergarten through 5th grade students were included in various musical selections.

Sixth through 8th graders in the St. Joan of Arc Youth Choir, directed by Jo Ellen Madden, performed a Christmas Carol Medley. Finally, the First Graders presented the traditional nativity play.
