The victims of an Oct. 27 robbery in Munster are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people involved, according to police.

Police were sent around 1 p.m. Oct. 27 to the 1400 block of Park West Circle for a home invasion, the Post-Tribune reported previously. The victims there told police that three men forced their way inside the home, tied them up, beat them and took items before fleeing.

Investigators subsequently determined that five masked people in two separate vehicles were involved, Munster Police Chief Steve Scheckel said in a release Tuesday. The suspects are believed to be men, he said.

Detectives viewed surveillance footage in and around the area and have identified two people of interest, Scheckel said. Police found the vehicles in Chicago; the Indiana State Police are processing them, he said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Munster Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 219-836-6658 or email tnosich@munster.org.
