It was a grand debut for the 1st annual Dynamic Women Awards that were held on Friday, Jan 29th at the Abbington in Glen Ellyn. The awards honored outstanding business women within the Dynamic Professional Womens Networking Group (DPWN). Several nominations were received in the categories of: Dynamic Entrepreneur Award, Dynamic Mentor Award, Dynamic Leader Award, Dynamic Philanthropist Award, and Best Overall Company of the Year.
Members of the DPWN Elmhurst chapter had a very strong showing. The finalists in each category were recognized for their achievements, as well as the overall winners:
Dynamic Entrepreneur Award Finalists: Penny Vickas, AnyTime Gift Baskets, Jennifer Jordan, Jordan Daily Money Management, and Helen Levinson, Desert Rose Design.
Dynamic Philanthropist Award Finalists: Jennifer Jordan, Jordan Daily Money Management and Negar Barmacki, Edward Jones Financial Advisor.
Best Overall Company of the Year Award Finalist: Tamra Perto, MK Insurance
The highlight of the evening for the Elmhurst Chapter was when Helen Levinson and her company Desert Rose Design were named Best Overall Company of the Year. It is a humbling experience to be honored for such a prestigious award amongst so many talented women. Levinson added, This award is a testament of the exceptional digital marketing services provided to our clients by our diverse and talented staff. The founder of DPWN has a great vision and is genuine in providing her members with the resources needed to help grow their business. I am proud and elated to be a part of this dynamic group of women!
