ICHS Celebrates 2012 Turnabout Week
Immaculate Conception High School hosted the annual Turnabout Dance on Saturday, February 11th. The dance followed a week of fun events and activities at the school. This year’s theme, Super Knight, featured The Hulk, Spiderman, Superman, and Batman; with each class designated as a different classic superhero. Keeping with tradition, students were invited to submit an original design to be made into a Turnabout T-Shirt which was available for purchase by the students. This year’s winning design was created, for the second year in a row, by senior Anthony Iavarone.
ICHS students were treated to dress down days all week long, with each day carrying a special theme including Jersey Day, Future Me Day, Superhero Day, Turnabout T-Shirt Day, and Class Color Day. On Friday, February 10th, the students participated in an all-school Turnabout Assembly which featured games, performances, and the crowning of senior Luigi Loizzo as the 2012 Turnabout King. The 2012 Turnabout Court includes juniors Ben Goworowski, Demetrius Carr, Joe Iavarone, Sean Fenton, Adam Muellers and Kyle Perrone. Representing the senior class is John Cheng, Jackson Faut, Vitino Labadessa, James Peachey, Dan Vatch and Andrew Vitek.
