Toy Fair Extravaganza draws a big crowd of fun seekers
More than 750 toy and game enthusiasts were in attendance at the Toy Fair Extravaganza at Elmhurst Historical Museum on Sunday, June 26. The day was filled to the brim with fun and games including a rousing game of Blurt, a meet-and-greet with toy inventors, a Toy Expo tent showcasing the latest products from Chicago area toy inventors, chess challenges and lots more. A highlight of the afternoon was the Lincoln Log Building Contest which had 48 participants. The winners of the contest were:
Age 5-8 Honorable Mention: Paige Pozeck, Elmhurst
Age 5-8 Winner: Mary Doherty, Elmhurst
Age 9-12 Honorable Mention: Sydney Ward, Countryside
Age 9-12 Winner: Camille Steahly, Elmhurst
