After rain made Clark Park too soggy for the fifth annual Block Party, the Elk Grove Park District moved the festivities over to the Pavilion July 25. There were games and crafts for children, food and music provided by Soda.

Later than night, the Elk Grove Idol participants would take the stage and compete for prizes.
