A Minooka motorist was killed when the car he was driving struck an overhead bridge support on southbound I-290 last night near Elk Grove Village.

The victim, identified at the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Jeremy Fink, was behind the wheel of a 1995 Ford Taurus on southbound I-290 near Biesterfield Road when the blue car struck a bridge support for an overpass, according to Illinois State Police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
