The City of Elgin’s website has been down for most of the day Wednesday due to technical problems with the company that hosts the site.

Officials this afternoon said the company, Civic Plus, has had server issues affecting www.cityofelgin.org. The website is expected to come back online today.

In some cases, residents who need to pay bills online can use other web addresses. For information, call 847-931-6100.
