Elgin’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will hold a public input session next week to give residents a chance to weigh in on a plan for a new bike path.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Jan. 3 at The Centre, 100 Symphony Way. Included will be a discussion on the Route 4 Bikeway Concept Plan.

The proposed path would connect the National Street Metra station with the western portion of the city, along Bowes Road.
