Amdur Productions proudly adds the 34th Annual Downtown Downers Grove Art Festival to its already impressive roster of outdoor summer festivals. This well-established festival will be revamped and made better than ever before for the loyal art lovers that visit annually. Located in beautiful downtown Downers Grove, the festival will take place on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Festival goers can expect the same integrity and prestige of previous years at the Downtown Downers Grove Art Festival.
FREE and open to the public, the Downtown Downers Grover Art festival offers one-of- a kind pieces from over 130 juried artists from around the world. Fine art of all mediums, including extraordinary examples of paintings, sculpture, glass, photography, drawings, jewelry, fiber, wood, ceramics, mixed media, and furniture will all be available at the festival. With pieces of art starting at $25, the festival offers something for everyone.
In addition to the fine art available at the festival, live music can be enjoyed all weekend long. Festival goers will enjoy the sounds of Chicago’s favorite acoustic rock duo, Cirrus Falcon, as well as guitarist Mark Adamczyk. Festival fare will also be available at the festival with favorites including lemonade, Palmetto Poppers, and Tornado Potatoes will. Activities just for kids including, and interactive art wall where children can help paint a mural makes the festival a wonderful family outing!
The Downtown Downers Grove Art Festival takes place Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission into the festival and parking are FREE.
