Four Corners Community Church, a new non-denominational Bible church launched from Glen Ellyn Bible Church, is having a special event to celebrate launch weekend August 27-29, 2010. FCCC is hosting the internationally renowned comedy duo
The Skit Guys on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 7:00 PM at FCCC Warehouse, located at 8251 Lemont Road in Darien, adjacent to The Perfect Swing batting cages. Tickets are free, and the public is cordially invited to attend this event.
Tommy Woodard and Eddie James are The Skit Guys. They have been best friends since high school. Think of them as the wise guys in class who had everyone laughing and managed to make a career out of it. They’ve been teaching God’s word using comedy, drama and whatever category talking action figures fit into for over twenty years
“Our launch weekend will be framed around two events, The Skit Guys on Friday night and worship on Sunday morning.” said FCCC Outreach Pastor Dave Schubert. At The Skit Guys, one lucky member of the audience will take home a new Kindle DX as a door prize. The public is also invited to attend Sunday worship service, officially “launching” Four Corners Community Church, which will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, August 29 at Four Corners Community Church. A picnic celebrating the launch will be held immediately following the worship service at Patriots Park, located at 500 55th Street in Downers Grove.
