South High School in Downers Grove held its National Letter of Intent/College Athletics Signing Day on Wednesday, February 1. Seven student athletes were recognized by the school’s athletic director and their coaches; each one signed their letter of intent to receive scholarships and to continue their athletic careers in college. Students included:

•Flo Beshiri –Creighton University – Soccer
•Jessica Bronke – Miami of Ohio – Soccer
•Scott Daly – University of Notre Dame – Football
•Anthony Farinella—Bowling Green—Football
•Sarrah Ludwig – Valparaiso – Soccer
•Rebecca Stearns – Loyola-Chicago – Track
•Jacquelyn Thate – Murray State – Cross Country/Track

“These students epitomize hard work and dedication, in both academics and athletics,” says South High School Athletic Director Randall Konstans. “We are proud of their achievements and successes while at South High School, and wish them the best in the future.”
