Fathers and daughters came together on Saturday, February 20th in the annual Father/Daughter Dance at St. Joseph School in Downers Grove.  Like years past, the dads and daughters dressed in their Sunday best for this special evening.  This year's theme, 'Dancing with the Stars' brought excitement to the dance floor just as on television. 

This traditional dance event was brought to the school more than 15 years ago, established by the school's Girl Scout troops.  It quickly expanded to a school-wide function organized by the Parent Forum group.  A favorite event certainly for the girls and their dads, this annually sold-out event creates more of a prom feel as dads often buy flowers for their daughters and girls dress in a more formal style, making it an extra special night to be remembered by all.
