Members of the Optimist Club of Des Plaines are selling Christmas trees and homemade wreaths to raise money for community and youth programs.

From Balsam to Scotch Pines to Frasiers, rows of green trees sit in Lake Park near the Veteran’s Memorial. The hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
