Many outstanding images were entered in the Des Plaines Camera Club's February/March print and digital image competition, but John Kowalyk once again landed at the top, with three out of the four top awards! John was awarded Image of the Month in the digital division for both February and March, for his "Owl" and "Cypress Reflections". In the print category, Jerry Hug's infrared image "17 Peaks" was named the February Print of the Month, and John's portrait "Charlie" won March POM.

Additional awards were won by Sue Lindell, Ken Kendzy and Theresa Hart. Sue also earned an honorable mention, as did Irene Szilagyi.

The Des Plaines Camera Club meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month September thru May. Meetings are at 7:00pm in the Des Plaines Park District Arndt Field House located at 1990 White Street in Des Plaines.
