The DBR Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Patty Turner Center will host the 8th Annual Lifestyle Expo on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Sachs Recreation Center in Deerfield. This expo will feature fun for the whole family and there is no charge to attend.
This year’s expo will include fitness demonstrations every 30 minutes and healthy cooking demonstrations at 10:30 and 11:30 am. Free flu shots and pneumonia vaccine will be available to everyone including those over 65 with Medicare part B. Without Medicare part B, flu shots are $30 and pneumonia vaccines are $45. We will also have free hearing, glaucoma, blood pressure, blood sugar screenings and bone density testing. A Shredding truck will be onsite and will accept up to 3 grocery size bags per person at no charge. This service is sponsored by Deerfield Bank & Trust.
