Fight Welcomes American Idol's Gina Glocksen!

American Idol’s Gina Glocksen will take center stage on Thursday evening, February 23rd at Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar in Glenview starting at 7:30 pm.

A Season 6 "Top 10" finalist, Gina was often referred to as the “rocker chick” on the show, but her musical influences and tremendous vocal abilities reach far beyond the realm of rock. Her star quality, edgy style and charming wit, coupled with her incredible voice, helped capture the attention of the American Idol judges, as well as the American public.

Although her good friend Jordin Sparks went on to win the title, Gina has experienced great success on her own touring North America as part of “American Idols Live” and co-hosting the FOX reality show, “American Idol Extra.” She also has her own band, writes and records original music, has released an album, and will soon be starring in Ballroom with a Twist alongside American Idol season 7 finalist, David Hernandez.

On Thursday evening, February 23rd, Gina (a Naperville native) will be joining one of Chicagoland’s most popular pianists, Dario Giraldo, singing a variety of her favorite songs and taking audience requests.

Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar is located in The Glen Town Center at 1820 Tower Drive, Glenview. Gina’s show begins at 7:30 pm and continues until 9:30 pm. There is no cover charge and no drink minimum. Parking is FREE.
