The Darien Woman’s Club Creative Youth Art Fair will be held this Sunday, February 26 from 2:00–3:30pm at Eisenhower Junior High School, 1410 75th Street, in Darien.
This year’s Art Fair has drawn one of its biggest entries ever. Nearly 700 budding young artists will showcase their talents— 677 pieces of original artwork—paintings, drawings, sculptures and photography—in six media categories, plus poetry, will be on display. An independent panel of judges will evaluate each piece; Prizes and awards will be presented at 3:15pm.
Artwork/poetry division winners will also be displayed at the Indian Prairie Public Library in March.
