Our Lady of Peace's mom and tot group, Little Peaces, gathered on Thursday, Dec. 2nd to sing Happy Birthday to baby Jesus. The moms chatted while the youngsters played. Because a birthday party wouldn't be complete without games, a lively scavenger hunt took place. Little hands searched under furniture for the plastic people to a toy nativity set. The kids colored coloring sheets of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus, and snacked on fruit and juice boxes. Finally, the candles were lit on the cupcakes and everyone sang Happy Birthday. The group collected non perishables to donate to the Our Lady of Peace food pantry.
The Little Peaces group typically meets twice a month to accommodate the various preschool schedules. All are welcome.
