On November 20, Our Lady of Peace Mathletes were very successful when they competed in math contests at Mt. Assisi Academy in Lemont and Montini Catholic High School in Lombard.

At Montini Catholic, Our Lady of Peace eighth grader Grayson Becker won 4th place in the individual competition, while eighth grader Joe Zabiniski won 8th place in the individual competition. The eighth grade team consisting of Joseph Zabinski, Benjamin Colletti, Callie Sharp, Grayson Becker and Joshua Martinez captured the overall 3rd place in the 8th grade team division competing against 23 schools.

The seventh grade team consisting of Sarah Janek, Carissa Estilo, Juliana Kasper, Erin Chorazyczewski, and Autumn Ganahl captured 2nd place overall in the 7th grade team division.

In the seventh grade individual competition, Autumn Ganahl won the 1st place individual of all the seventh grade students attending in this division, which is about a hundred students.

At Mt. Assisi Dominique Seo, Caitlin Miller, and Rachel Hawken, won 1st place in probability. While the three person team event with Caitlin Miller, Rene Bialas, and Rachel Hawken captured 2nd place. Overall Caitlin Miller captured 1st place of all the Our Lady of Peace participants.
