Our Lady of Peace School Preschool Makes High Marks

Our Lady of Peace Catholic School in Darien will welcome its second preschool class this fall.  Last year’s inaugural preschool class blossomed thanks to a wonderful teacher, Mrs. McFadyen.  Parents raved about Mrs. McFadyen’s creative lesson plans and her ability to teach the children without them even realizing it.  Mom Angel Arflack commented on the preschool, “We had a great experience with preschool this year.  Mrs. McFadyen is a very gentle yet firm instructor that the children really respond to.  I have watched my daughter become more open and treat others with more kindness under Mrs. McFayden’s guidance and by carrying through those teachings at home.  My daughter loves to lead us in prayer at mealtime and is proud of how she can read and spell with her older sister.  I would recommend OLP Preschool to anyone.”
An open house is planned for August 18th from 3:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at 709 Plainfield Rd.  Parents can visit the preschool as well as grades K – 8.  Our Lady of Peace offers before and after school care, full and half day kindergarten, a devoted faculty, a strong faith based curriculum, a dedicated technology lab, art, gym, no cut sports, music, student council, and much more.  Call the school office with any questions, (630) 325-9220.
