Members of the Our Lady of Peace School and parish family marched in the Darien 4th of July parade. A goup of students rode in the float chanting ‘O-L-P’ as they tossed candy to eager children waving from the side of the road. Decorated bikes, wagons, and scooters zig zagged beside the truck greeting familiar faces in the crowd. With fliers in hand, moms and dads distribulted information about the upcoming Our Lady of Peace open house Aug. 18th. Cheer leaders dressed in their blue and white uniforms and religious education students in their bright blue t-shirts proceeded the float through Darien.
