Cass Jr. High School's Chess Team had a record of 11 wins and 1 loss for the 2011-2012 season. In the regular season standings, Cass won 1st place. In addition, 8th grader Samuel Chang went undefeated all season, and also earned a medal at the SDEAA Conference Tournament.
