Phone registration starts at noon on Sept. 7; call 630-887-8760, ext. 264. Session 1 will run from the week of Sept. 13 through the week of Oct. 4. Session 2 will run from the week of Nov. 8 through the week of Nov. 29. An Indian Prairie Library card is required. Each child may sign up for only one story time. (Child must be the appropriate age by Sept. 7 for Session 1 and by Nov. 8 for Session 2.) All story times incorporate six pre-reading skills that help children get ready to read. Storytimes are as follows: Babies, Books and Songs Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. For babies 3 to 24 months. Walkers, Books and Songs Thursdays at 9:30am For babies 13 to 24 months. Terrific Twos Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10:45a.m. 24 to 36 mos. On Our Own Story Time Mondays at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. For children three years old and up. All Ages Story Time Mondays at 1:30 p.m. Family Story Time Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m. This is the only storytime that does not need an IPPL card. Individuals who require an accommodation for a disability for any library program should contact the library at least five days before the program.
