The following items were taken from Darien police reports on Feb 3.
Theft
- A mailbox was stolen from the 3100 block of Drover Lane between 2 p.m. Jan. 24 and 2:15 p.m. the following day. The mailbox is worth an estimated $40.
- Three male juveniles were arrested at a big box retail store in the 2100 block of 75st Street for stealing ear buds, 4 candy bars and three unidentified toys. The stolen items, which were worth approximately $60, were taken around 9 p.m. on an unidentified date last month.
- A mailbox in the 7100 block of High Road was knocked off its perch sometime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Jan. 28.
Arrests
- A 32 year-old Bolingbrook woman, of the 400 block of Sword Way, was charged with DUI after officers pulled her over for driving into oncoming lanes of traffic in the 6500 block of Cass Avenue about 2 a.m. on Jan. 29. A breathalyzer test indicated the woman had a blood alcohol level that was over three times the legal limit of .08 percent. The woman was processed, released and given an upcoming court date in Wheaton
- An 18-year-old Downers Grove woman, of the 8300 block of Cambridge Court, was arrested for DUI after police pulled her over for speeding and “erratic driving” about 1 a.m. on Jan. 26. A breathalyzer test indicated she had a blood alcohol level that was over the legal limit of .08 percent. She was released and given a Feb. 22nd court date in Wheaton.
