Man caught with cannabis, and more

The following items were taken from Crystal Lake Police records on Feb. 6.

Unlawful possession of cannabis

  • A 19-year-old Woodstock man was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructed driver’s view Feb. 3.
  • A 20-year-old McHenry man was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia Feb. 4.

DUI

  • A 30-year-old Woodstock man was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt Jan. 29.
  • A 52-year-old man, of the first block of Esther Street, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage Feb. 5.

Theft

  • A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with theft Jan. 14.

Criminal trespass to vehicle

  • A 32-year-old Berwyn man was charged with criminal trespass to vehicle, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of obstructing a peace officer Jan. 20.

Retail theft

  • An 18-year-old Cary man was charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer Jan. 26.
  • A 36-year-old Elgin woman was charged with retail theft Feb. 3. A 37-year-old Woodstock woman was also charged with retail theft.

Outstanding warrant

  • A 24-year-old Carpentersville man was arrested Jan. 31 for an outstanding warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear in court on a speeding charge. He was also charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and improper lane usage.

Battery

  • A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with battery Feb. 1.
