Neri attended MCC for two years beginning in 1994. The Madison, Wisc.-based artist’s exhibit, “Invasive Species,” is a collection of satirical works in blown glass and mixed media that she started in 2006.
By using animals and their behavior, she touches on aspects of humanity such as war, politics and mob mentality. The exhibit is located in Gallery One and Gallery Two in Building A on campus, located at 8900 Northwest Highway.
Aleman also attended MCC and now maintains a studio in Harvard. Her exhibit, “Sense of the Infinite,” features mixed media collage, sketchbook entries and drawings used as installation specific to space. The exhibit is located in the Epping Gallery in Building B.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
