Bee a Super Speller
It took 24 rounds for a winner to emerge at the Third Annual Prospect Elementary School Spelling Bee. In the end, fourth grade student Emma Gordan successfully spelled livelihood to win the bee. Ten third through fifth grade students won their classroom competition in order to participate in the school bee. Lia Fawley placed second and Sharika Kottapalli placed third. Gordan and Fawley will move on to the School District 181 Spelling Bee in February.
