Fresh from the huge London celebration of the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens, Linda Putnam, expert in all things Dickens, joins us at the Clarendon Hills Library. 7 North Prospect Avenue, on Thursday, February 23rd at 7 pm for a look at the beloved author’s life.
“Dickens at 200” is a fun and informative talk accompanied by more than 50 pictures, delving into Dickens treatment the subject of birth in some of his novels. Ms. Putnam will also show how Dickens’ own life experiences intertwine with his fiction.
