Cary Cruise Night kicks off June 1 offering another fun summer of classic muscle and hot rod cars, great food and camaraderie – all in downtown Cary. Hundreds of classic car buffs and residents from throughout McHenry County attend each Wednesday night. Cary Cruise Night is held on W. Main Street off of Route 14 in downtown Cary. Sponsored by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, the event is held each Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

A different Cary Cruise Night theme has been selected for each Wednesday. Themed cars will be judged and trophies and ribbons will be awarded. During the evening there will be live entertainment from local DJs and bands and wonderful food and Cruise Night specials at local restaurants. On opening night, June 1, stop by for a free Chamber shopping bag filled with goodies, which will be distributed to the first 100 car show participants to arrive. Opening night ceremonies will include Cary Mayor Tom Kierna, Miss Cary Erin Alleva, Miss Fox River Grove Leslie Michaelchuck, and the Cary-Grove AMVETS Color Guard.
