Buffalo Grove, IL (November 9, 2011) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage took its top producing agents including Sharron Kelley, who qualified for The President’s Club, on their annual business retreat. The event provided the opportunity to hear from nationally renowned industry speakers and learn about market trends and competitive strategies for 2012 from these leading experts.

Sharron Kelley has been a top producing real estate agent for 25+ years. She moved to Coldwell Banker in Buffalo Grove in 2009 and has been in the President’s Club each year. Sharron and her team are leaders in the industry using technology and the internet to showcase each listing and set them apart from the competition.

The President’s Club convened in Lake Geneva, Wis., at The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa where agents engaged in dynamic breakout sessions focused on ways to grow their business through new tools and strategies and received a real estate market update from Coldwell Banker President and COO Fran Broude.

“We place high value on celebrating our agent’s successes and providing opportunities for them to grow their businesses,” said Broude. “They are the leaders in our company as well as the overall marketplace, and insight from [insert agent name] is invaluable, especially in today’s challenging real estate market.”

In addition to gaining access and information from leading experts during The President’s Club retreat, agents were able to take advantage of networking opportunities to share best practices as well as various leisure activities.

Leading up to the retreat, Coldwell Banker surveyed The President’s Club members regarding key aspects of their business, various tools for success and insights into their strategies. The overwhelming response was that Coldwell Banker agents continue to increase their knowledge and skills in order to provide an exceptional consumer experience.

According to the President’s Club members, 70 percent have a tablet of some sort, nearly three in four are shooting listing videos and four out of five recommend using social networking as various ways to connect with and service their clients. Coldwell Banker is on the leading edge of technology for their agents and clients, providing various tools including properly formatted mobile sites and educational seminars for social networking sites, easing the buying and selling process for both sides of the table.

While technology methods have shifted, the core business practice hasn’t. Word of mouth and client referrals continue to be the leading source of business. Both buyers and sellers are relying on agents they know and trust to help them navigate the current housing market.
