The Bolingbrook Park District is seeking a new executive director for the district, according to park district officials.

The former executive director, Susan Hoster-Suggs, died in October after battling skin cancer. Hoster-Suggs, 44, served as executive director for about two years and previously worked in the district’s finance department.

Park officials said the executive director will report to the park’s board of commissioners and is responsible for the management and operations of all the park departments.

There is a Bolingbrook residency requirement for the position and the application deadline is Feb. 15. For more information on the position, visit www.bolingbrookparks.org
