Police continue to investigate a fatal crash Friday that killed a 38-year-old Bolingbrook man riding a motorcycle on Route 53.
Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa said charges could be filed against the driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcycle, but those will follow conclusion of the police investigation.
Paul L. Robinson III, 38, was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m. Friday at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital after his motorcycle was struck by a car Friday afternoon, police said.
A Saturn traveling northbound on Route 53 struck Robinson’s motorcycle around 3:25 p.m. when turning left onto North Beaconridge Drive, Rompa said.
The driver and the sole passenger in the Saturn, two Bolingbrook residents, also were sent to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital with injuries, but were released, Rompa said.
