Cops respond to brawl at sports center, and more

Batavia
Three 20-pound propane tanks were reported stolen on Jan. 24 from Moline Bearing Co., 1181 N. Raddant Rd. The tanks were valued at $450.

A leather briefcase, $300 headphones and an iPad and its case were reported stolen from a car left unattended for a minute in the parking lot of Phillips 66, 108 N. Batavia Ave., on Jan. 25.

Police were called to TCF Bank, 119 S. Randall Rd., when a customer caused a loud disturbance on Jan. 25. After the person apologized, no charges were filed.

A wallet valued at $200 was reported stolen from Jewel-Osco, 119 S. Randall Rd., on Jan. 24.

St. Charles
Police responded on Jan. 22 to a brawl at Sportsplex, 1400 Foundry St., after two soccer teams playing a game began fighting over a hard foul. One team left before police arrived; everyone who remained refused medical attention.

A van parked in the 300 block of 6th Avenue was found on Jan. 19 covered in spray paint.

Construction equipment kept at Foxboro Plaza, 2400 E. Main St., for snow removal was found disturbed on Jan. 20. Electrical features had been turned on, draining the battery. The dump was lowered and the heating cord unplugged.
