The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce is once again bringing back one of the largest Sidewalk Days in the Chicagoland area! There will be vendors lining the streets of the Village of Barrington (Rte. 59, Main St., Station St. Cook St., The Foundry, Ice House Mall & Village Shops) offering discounted merchandise of up yo 70%! Go Green! events will be taking place all through the three days with events like the cell phone collection at the Barrington Bank and Trust Thursday through Saturday, a children-friendly speaker on recycling on Thursday, used oil and battery collection at Douglas Automotive, Inc. on Thursday and Friday, and Vintage Tech Recyclers collecting used electronics on Saturday. The 2nd Annual Sidewalk Chalk Contest is on Thursday and Friday where children, teens, and families can enter for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Ice House Mall & Village Shops!
