The following items were taken from Barrington Hills Police Records Sept. 1.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

A portable air conditioner, sanders and hand tools were reported missing at about 7:42 a.m. on Aug. 20 from a locked construction trailer parked in the 0-100 block of Abbey Woods. The items were valued at about $1,200.

Criminal Damage to Property

A brick was thrown through a window of a house in the 0-100 block of Oakdene Road at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 20.  Damage was estimated at $400.

Arrests

A 38-year-old Fox River Grove man was arrested at about 11:30 p.m.  Aug. 24 on River Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and cited with improper lane usage.

A 21-year-old Carol Stream woman was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 23 on Algonquin Road, just east of Route 25, and cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license and registration.
