One Paragraph Review: A Chorus Line at the Paramount Theatre

PT_A Chorus Line_3

Aurora – It doesn't get more backstage than "A Chorus Line." Under Jim Corti's artistic direction, and Mitzi Hamilton's (Google her) direction and choreography, it doesn't get any hotter than seeing "A Chorus Line" at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora. The true stories, the stunning cast, the amazing moves and the raw emotion all come together in one perfect show. It is obvious that Mitzi knows this show like the back of her hand, but it is never boring, or dull — only engaging and powerful. Once again, the diverse cast is big on talent: you cheer for all of them to get on "the line." The showstopping number comes at the end with a brilliant set design reflecting pure passion right at you. Be prepared to get on your feet before they leave the stage.

"A Chorus Line" performs at the Paramount Theatre through Feb. 5. Call 630-896-6666 for tickets. "A Chorus Line" is Rated R for adult language, and is not appropriate for children.
