Police release sketch of Oakhurst suspect

GENEVA, IL — Police from the Forest Preserve District of Kane County released this forensic sketch of the suspect in an Aug. 28 sexual assault at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.

The assault took place at approximately 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, in the Fox Valley Park District garden plots, within Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora.

The victim, a 29-year old Aurora woman, assisted police with the sketch.

Anyone having information is asked to call Kane County Forest Preserve police at 630-232-5980 or to remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 years old, stocky build, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a bald head and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a red shirt with white trim. The suspect fled west on Fifth Avenue in a dark green, four-door, 1999-2000 Pontiac Grand Prix.
