Join us for this special screening of the acclaimed documentary Traces of the Trade: A Story
from the Deep North and a moderated discussion about the legacy of slavery and how racism
and an economy based on oppression might be at work today.
What steps can we take right now to begin the process of repair that can lead to reconciliation,
remembering that reconciliation is not the beginning
but the end product of this process of reflection, compassion, vision, and sacrifice?
Moderators: Dain and Constance Perry. Dain Perry is a cousin of the
film’s maker Katrina Browne & participated in the film.
