ARRESTS
Two 20-year-old Aurora men were charged with criminal trespass and mob action following an arrest at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 in the 400 block of East Downer Place.
A 23-year-old Aurora man was charged with two counts of domestic battery following an arrest at 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 22 in the 1500 block of Cumberland Road.
THEFT
A chest freezer valued at $2,000, a sewing machine valued at $300 and various tools with a combined estimated value to $500 were reported stolen from a residence on the 400 block of Liberty Street sometime between 5 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 2:59 p.m. on Jan. 21. Two porch doors used for entry sustained damages estimated at $600.
A cell phone valued at $50 was reported stolen from a man residing at a shelter on the 600 block of South River Street sometime between 9:45 and 10:25 a.m. on Jan. 21. The phone was being charged in an outlet when the theft occurred.
Rear tail lights on a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle valued at $500 were stolen and the vehicle sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage sometime between 11 p.m. on Jan. 21 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 22 while parked on the street in the 2700 block of White Barn Road.
An official Illinois handicap placard was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a lot in the 4200 block of Chesapeake Drive sometime between 11 p.m. on Jan . 21 and 2 p.m. on Jan. 22.
An iPhone valued at $400 was reported taken by an unknown person from a kiosk at the Westfield Fox Valley Mall between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 22.
