TribLocal High School Player of the Month
The High School Player of The Month contest is underway featuring deserving student athletes from local high schools. The Illinois Bone and Joint Institute and TribLocal have teamed up to recognize student athletes and make donations to local schools. Contest sponsor Illinois Bone and Joint Institute will make a monetary donation to the winner’s school and the athlete will be honored with a plaque. The contest will end at 9 p.m November 24.

Junior Alexis Casati was 19-0 entering the state playoffs. She won the sectional singles title Oct. 15 losing only three games in eight sets. She eventually finished 5th in the State leading Deerfield's team to a 4th place finish overall
