The body of a Lake Villa hunter, who had been missing for several days, was identified Monday after being located Saturday, authorities said.

The Lake County coroner’s office reported Monday that Patrick Serzynski, 60, of Lake Villa, was found Saturday morning at Fourth Lake.

Preliminary autopsy results indicated Serzynski’s death was consistent with drowning, according to the coroner’s office.

Serzynski was located in Fourth Lake Saturday morning by Lake County sheriff’s office personnel along with local firefighters, according to Deputy Chief Christopher Covelli.

Authorities believed it was Serzynski based on the clothing and his general description.

Serzynski was reported missing after going hunting at Fourth Lake on Oct. 30. His boat and some possessions were found at a duck blind, authorities said.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
