The following was taken from Arlington Heights Police records on Feb. 9.
Criminal damage to property
- Two light fixtures were stolen, light bulbs and lampshades were thrown in the garbage, an air freshener was pulled down, a picture frame was damaged in the men’s bathroom and a certificate from the elevator was removed and left in the men’s bathroom at Big Shots Piano Bar, 2 S. Vail Ave., between 8:15 p.m. Feb. 7 and 1 a.m. Feb. 8. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
- The trunk and driver’s side rear fender of a 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo was scratched with a sharp object while parked at Arlington Lanes Bowling, 3435 N. Kennicott Ave., between 5 p.m. Feb. 4 and 1:30 a.m. Feb. 5. The vehicle is a company car.
Vehicle burglary
- About $4 in change was stolen from an unlocked 2003 silver Honda Odyssey van parked in a driveway on the 2300 block of North Burke Drive between midnight and 9 a.m. Feb. 7.
- An HP laptop computer, calculator, phone charging cord and computer case — valued together at $2,500 — were stolen from a tan 2003 GMC Envoy XL parked at Jameson’s Steakhouse, 1331 W. Dundee Road, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 8. The rear driver’s side door window was shattered.
Residential burglary
- Five gold necklaces, one charm bracelet, two Sony PSP III handheld gaming devices, one Nintendo handheld gaming device and about 15 Xbox games — valued together at between $1,500 and $2,000 — were stolen from a home on the 300 block of Happfield Drive between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 2. The home may have been unlocked. The incident was reported on Feb. 7.
